LASRAB Tour Overview

The Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau (LASRAB) offers an immersive, educational, and cultural experience through its LASRAB Tour Program. Designed to showcase the state’s rich history, archival practices, and heritage preservation, the tour provides valuable insights for students, researchers, historians, and the general public.

Tour Packages

1️⃣ Standard Educational Tour Package (₦1,500 per student)

• Welcome address and briefing on LASRAB’s role in historical preservation
• Guided tour of the gallery, museum, newspaper morgue, and operational facilities
• Interactive session on records management and national archival responsibilities
• Question & Answer sessions with professional archivists
• Group photograph sessions

2️⃣ Heritage Experience Package (₦5,000 per student)

Includes all features of the Standard Package, plus:

• Light refreshments: traditional local snacks such as kokoro, gurudi, shuk-shuk, chin-chin
• Soft drinks and bottled water
• Commemorative souvenirs (e.g. LASRAB branded notepads, keychains, etc.)
