MRS. OLAMUYIWA BOSEDE
Head of the Outreach and Advocacy Unit

Mrs. Bosede Olamuyiwa is an information professional, archivist and records manager and a pioneer staff of the Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau. She is the current Head of the Outreach and Advocacy unit where she is responsible for promoting awareness of archival resources through workshops, publications and exhibitions. In the course of her career, she has been a team lead in the execution of the decongestion of registries of MDAs as part of the service-wide reform to revamp registries of Lagos State.
She has also been instrumental in the acquisition of public and private records as part of the Bureau’s mandate to increase its archival holdings while disposing of obsolete records in line with archival best practice. Mrs Bosede Olamuyiwa has held various supporting roles, including secretary of the International Archives Day celebration and assistant coordinator in the development of the General Records Retention and Disposal Schedule.
Mrs Olamuyiwa holds a master's degree in Archive, Records, and Information Management and certification in various accredited courses on Records Management. She is a member of the International Council of Archives and the Society of Nigerian Archivists. She is married with children.
