MRS. ELIJAH AJOKE BRADIBA ROSSET
Head, Record Center Unit, Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau

Mrs. Rosset is a distinguished archivist and records management expert with deep experience in preserving and organizing government documents. As Chief Archivist and Head of the Records Center at the Lagos State Records & Archives Bureau, she leads key initiatives to survey, transfer, appraise, and catalog records across multiple Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). She ensures both regulatory compliance and secure disposal of outdated records while compiling inventories and drafting official communications on retention policies.
A graduate of Lagos State University with a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) and a Bachelor's degree in History and International Studies, Mrs. Rosset blends academic insight with practical governance. Prior to her current role, she taught and led as a head teacher (1995–2002), then worked as Personal Assistant to Hon. Bola Badmus Olujobi at the Lagos State House of Assembly (2003–2007). In 2023, she earned the Lagos State Government’s Outstanding Office Award (Senior Category) for her exceptional service.
She is an active member of the Society of Nigerian Archivists (SNA), the Nigerian Library Association (NLA), and the International Council on Archives (ICA), and co-authored the children’s storybook Aina on Iddo Island. Mrs. Rosset is passionate about reading and travel—passions that fuel her commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence.
