Oni Oladapo is an alumnus of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 2008. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
He joined the Lagos State Civil Service in 2013 and has continuously risen, holding various positions in the Internal Audit Office. He was the Head of the Internal Audit Unit, Office of the State Auditor-General, between March 2014 and October 2015. He was deployed to Education District II, Maryland, where he spent over three years. He had a brief stint at Orile Agege General Hospital between 2019 and 2021 before his deployment to the Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau in 2021 asHead of the Internal Audit Unit.
Oni is an astute auditor renowned for his analytical and exceptional interpersonal abilities. An effective team player with creativity and innovative ideas. Oni not only has profound knowledge of Public Sector activities; he also has a robust understanding of the Private Sector economy. He has vast experience in Financial Reporting, Auditing, Taxation, Internal Control Procedures and Risk Management. He is happily married and blessed with lovely children
